A local industry effort to realise the Singapore Food Story and advance its 30x30 agenda through transformative technologies
GROW's Singapore Food Bowl programme aims to help regional agri-food tech startups fast track their growth trajectory and commercialise novel technologies specifically relevant to Singapore's food security agenda.
Our bespoke, 12-week virtual accelerator allows for the local ecosystem to make a change together, by forming a cohort of local and regional startups to address the challenges and opportunities in food security and supply chain highlighted by the current COVID-19 pandemic.
We are focused on startups working on technologies that can materially improve productivity in the areas aligned with Singapore's 30x30 food pillars, namely protein production and leafy greens. In addition we seek startups developing solutions for food waste and digital supply chains, which are highly complementary to the food production side of Singapore’s vision of a more secure and sustainable food future.

The realities of COVID-19 have shown us that the challenge for Singapore is no longer about producing 30% of our nutritional needs locally by 2030, but potentially 100% by tomorrow

SUPPLY CHAIN | ROBOTICS
One-stop and easy-to-use robotic automation
Augmentus has developed the world's first full stack, code-free robotic automation platform that allows even non-technical operators to develop autonomous robotic systems.
The young company’s technology is being applied in the SG Food Bowl context to the world of urban farming and controlled environment agriculture, with its solution for automated harvest meeting demands for increased productivity and manpower constraints.
With multiple local and international partnerships already underway, Augmentus is quickly becoming the face of a new era in robotic automation.
"Initiatives such as the Singapore Food Bowl accelerator will be important in driving activity and interest in the agrifood tech ecosystem, as well as identifying novel innovations that can be applied to Singapore's landscape."
